Three More Days 'Til Friday

via Massimo Dutti

I am so done with this winter. I've spent this week alternating between three expressions - the defiant pout, the grumpy resting bitch face and a teeth-gritted-eyes-squinted-shut-I-GIVE-UP scowl. Spring, IMO, cannot come soon enough. I won't tell you I'm leaving on vacation this Friday because it might make some of you angry (but check out my Instagram feed next week for me frolicking in the sun! sorry) but I will tell you that spring is absolutely on its way. How do I know? It's March next week, for one. And spring fashion is already in stores and online. I am totally loving the vibe of the new Massimo Dutti NYC Collection. Tan, white and cognac in relaxed silhouettes, all linens and cottons to breezily meet the heat. Simple. Sexy. Spring-ready.

Three more days 'til Friday!

Massimo Dutti E-Shop Hits Canada This Week

Toni Garrn (aka. Leo DiCaprio's gf) and David Genat pose for the gorgeous Massimo Dutti Fall '13 Campaign shot by Mario Testino. Photo courtesy Massimo Dutti

Ever since Zara's upscale big sister arrived in Canada a few years back, I've been obsessed with Massimo Dutti. The brand exudes urban class and confidence and shares a super similar aesthetic to Michael Kors without the budget-busting pricetag. It's a quiet, refined collection - the sort of bumped-up basics that always make you look put together - the kind of pieces you can mix and match endlessly. I was always frustrated by the fact that the only Massimo Dutti was at Eaton Centre (a bit of a trek for a Londonite) but with the new Canadian e-shop launching this week, we can all finally get our paws on the pretty collection!

Massimo Dutti asked me to pre-shop the site yesterday and I loved what I saw. Prices are all listed in CDN currency including duties (it's so annoying when they're not) with shipping available to most areas of Canada starting at $4.95 (with free in-store pick-up for GTA shoppers). I wanted everything but I finally settled on a beautiful blazer in the perfect shade of red and the comfiest looking printed silk/cashmere pants that I know I'll live in all season long.  massimodutti.com officially launches this Thursday but you can pre-shop the full men’s and women’s collections online now. Loads of temptations here - don't say I didn't warn you...

Which Massimo Dutti beauties are you going to add to your closet this fall? And OMG, how insanely gorgeous is Toni Garrn? xo
