My Mom

Growing up, my family always joked that my chic mom (far left - pictured here with my dad and aunt) was a displaced Parisienne. Through her passion for design, art, music, and style, she taught us to appreciate the finer things in life and for that, I will be forever in her debt...and likely eternally in debt :)

I remember that beautiful fall Sunday afternoon like it was yesterday, and I remember that suit fondly. It was a Made in England camel's hair double-breasted jacket and an A-line skirt with stitching on either side of the front side seams. It had a beautiful satin lining. One of my favourite pieces ever.
