With Father's Day fast approaching, I thought I'd take this week to give the guys a little love. Although most men have learned to ignore the 'Boys Wear Blue' mentality and have fully embraced pale pink (bravo!) how many of them actually have the guts to wear hot pink? I love the idea of pairing shades of grey, navy or tan with a bright pop of pink, whether under a sweater or suit or with a fun pair of socks. And, at only $6.95, this tee from H&M is the perfect way to test out his colour confidence. As my dad always said, 'Only real men wear pink.' Hmm...anyone up for the challenge?

The Bay just revealed that its Yorkdale Mall store in Toronto will house the first Canadian outpost of Topshop and Topman. Yay! Though the mall's store-within-a-store concept won't open until September 2011, The Topshop and Topman Summer Takeover will allow us to pre-shop at temporary pop-up stores throughout the summer, featuring the brand's summer essentials, free frozen treats (yum!) and a shopping soundtrack provided by high-profile DJs. The first 200 shoppers each day will receive a limited-edition reusable fabric bag and the weekend shopper deemed to have the best Toronto Street Style will win tickets to the Yorkdale VIP Opening Party in September and a $500 shopping spree with a Topshop Personal Shopper.

To me, Diane von Furstenberg can do no wrong. Whether it's her iconic wrap dress, the way she fearlessly mixes her prints or the fact that she's still so incredibly cool in her sixties, DVF is a fashion legend. For mere mortals like myself, owning a piece by DVF has been nothing more than a hopeless fantasy...until now, that is.
After months of speculation, GapKids and babyGap confirmed plans today for a collection by none other than Diane von Furstenberg. Following in the well-heeled footsteps of designers like Roland Mouret, Valentino and Stella McCartney who have previously collaborated with the brand, DVF's capsule collection for wee ones will be available in stores and online starting in March, 2012.

I'm already jealous that my kids are going to wear DVF. Hmmm...now I wonder if I can squeeze myself into a girl's size XL?
