Did you catch the Globes the other night? Who do you think won best-dressed? I loved Kate Hudson (b/c I love Kate Hudson and I loved her choice) Thumbs down to Halle Berry (love her, her dress was super ug though...). Thought Jessica Alba, Amy Adams, Kerry Washington and that American Idol/Smash girl killed it, too. Though of anyone, you'd think Dior Couture could have figured out how to make that dress fit Jessica Chastain, no? Such a shame - she looked beyond gorgeous otherwise...

So long, farewell, old burgundy. I tried (really I did) but if I'm honest, we've had our fun and now I'm ready for a change. Luckily, Pantone has declared pretty Emerald as the colour to covet in 2013. They say it’s not easy being green, but wearing green? That’s a whole other story. The rich hue, said to promote balance and harmony will help you feel enlivened, elegant and positively renewed. Can’t think of a better way to kick off the new year!
