When it comes to holiday shopping, I'm here to help. With the dozens of gifts on your to-get list this year, the last thing you need is one more thing to do. And so, I've done a little legwork for you and surveyed some of the men in my life - from my husband to bachelor friends to my 9 year-old nephew, to find out what guys REALLY want this Christmas.

Whether he's an avid athlete, a world traveller, or just likes to get his game on, check out my 2013 Men's Gift Guide, with ideas for every guy on your list. Good luck out there, ladies. Oh, and be sure to check back for the Girls' Guide.

Song of Style & eLUXE Do Epic Chic

Aimee Song, the over-achieving bloggess behind popular style blog, Song of Style.

Looking at blogger Aimee Song's social media stats is enough to make anyone feel like an underachiever. At only 25, the interior designer and style influencer has amassed over a million Instagram followers and gets 3.7 million monthly page views. I won't even tell you how many I get but it's only, like, half of that. I was never very good at math.

Canadian etailer, eLUXE, just announced an exciting collab with Aimee and her blog, SongofStyle.com. The collection merges Aimee's unique style with the season's hottest sweatshirt trend resulting in a limited run, six piece capsule collection of luxury tees and sweatshirts.

Aimee worked with the eLUXE team to create a collection that is wearable, sophisticated and on trend. A perfect cut tee and a sweatshirt in a classic crew or raw neck are available in chic dark storm and white, white and black or grey and black combinations, priced from $40 to $90. Mark your calendars - the collection will be available on eLUXE.ca starting Dec 4th.

Gilt.com's Exclusive Canadian Sale is Now Live

I was lucky to be invited to an intimate breakfast at Soho House yesterday, hosted by Tracey Lomrantz Lester, editorial director of Gilt.com.  Tracey was in from NY to talk fashion and to tell us all about Gilt's first ever sale exclusive to its Canadian members. The sale, aptly named 'Canada's Most Coveted' just launched at noon today and is based  on the brands and categories that Canadians shop most, including (not surprisingly) a heavy rotation of fall boots, cozy sweaters and luxe outerwear. Gilt has also included some top Canadian designers in the mix like Mackage, Soia & Kyo and Pink Tartan, all being offered at steep discounts for this exclusive event. To access the sale, visit www.gilt.com/canada now. Sale ends in 1 day and 22 hours (and counting...)

Happy shopping and thanks Gilt for showing Canada some love!

THE BEAUTY EDIT: The Prettiest Picks for Fall and Holiday 2013

Cara Delevingne for the Yves Saint Laurent Beauté Holiday 2013 Campaign.

 Originally posted in The CLOSET

It's not easy being pretty. Sure, we all know that true beauty comes from within but let's be honest - it's nice to have a glowing face, shiny hair and clump-free lashes as icing on the cake, don't you think? Luckily, all it takes to look 'naturally' beautiful is a little cleanser, concealer, BB cream, CC cream (??), toner, primer, foundation, blush, mascara, eye makeup remover and night cream. Oh, and don't forget the nails - from basecoats and topcoats, to ring finger nail art and perfect polish remover. Oh wait, then there's the hair - shampoos, conditioners, detanglers, hair oil, waxes, pomades, dryers, straighteners, curlers, stylers. Um, anyone else ready to tear their hair out yet?

To sift through all the confusion and to take the guesswork out of picking the right products, I headed to Sephora, the pantheon of beauty, the hallowed halls of all things pretty, and edited it down to my top beauty picks for you...
