Happy Monday, beauties! Now where were we....Oh, yes, speaking of moto jackets, the obsession continues, especially now that the weather is finally(!) in tune with our calendar. The Mendocino Spring/Summer 2013 Lookbook just made its way into my inbox and I'm loving the mash-up of bold pastels, fierce moto bombers and ultra-feminine dresses and skirts. How gorgeous is that black peplum bomber with the gold skirt? And the apricot dress and the printed tuxedo blazer and the slim white pantsuit and the fringey cuffs and the python short suit? Dyyying. The new Tiger of Sweden Toronto flagship at 56 Ossington Ave.
Whether it's edgy songstresses (Lykke Li, anyone?), famously well-dressed Stockholm Street Style-ers or wicked home décor, Sweden always seems to be at the cusp of what's cool. One of the country's coolest exports, Tiger of Sweden, officially fêted its new Toronto flagship last night with the city's fashion elite at its brand new Ossington Street store.
Established in 1903, Tiger of Sweden's philosophy focuses on modern design and perfect fit. “Internationally, Scandinavian fashion is receiving well-deserved recognition for its distinct aesthetic, attractive cuts and cool factor,” said David Thunmarker, CEO of Tiger of Sweden. “As a brand, we’re thrilled about the opportunity to present our collections in a discerning and fashion-forward market such as Toronto.”
The 3,600 sq. ft. Toronto flagship carries the men's and women's Tiger of Sweden and Tiger of Sweden/ Jeans Collections as well as footwear and accessories.

I don't normally feature full editorials but the May '13 issue of Flare really caught my eye. The sunny shoot, starring sultry Mad Men star Christina Hendricks is playful, pretty and a crash course in how a woman should confidently and unapologetically rock her curves. If only I had her curves...

When my finely-frocked friends at RW&CO. asked me to check out their new Spring collection and shop for a head-to-toe look, I was naturally stoked. I had yet to check out their new season stuff in person but thanks all the recent editorial coverage, I knew that the store had stepped up its game for spring. But mostly, I was curious to see whether or not RW&CO.'s brand new footwear line would live up to all the hype.
I started with a black & white look with gold pointy-toe python flats, then migrated over to reds, whites and blues finished off with a pretty blue sandal, but eventually settled on a winner - a floaty floral print dress cinches with a studded belt, a black anorak that will be my new spring go-to, a coral python clutch, a pretty gold filigree ring, and of course, a killer pair of black ankle-wrap heels. I'm not just saying this because they gave me a shopping spree - I am SMITTEN with my new outfit, and am of course thrilled to have a place to shop for cute, well-made, under-$100 shoes.
